When I ordered this book I was looking for two things, first, a small easily-handled calendar and second, 365 daily affirmations that would help me live in the “NOW” or as the title states in “the Present Moment”. Prior to buying this book I had not read any of Louis L. Hay’s books; but, I was well aware that she was viewed as one of the most inspirational writers in the world. Unfortunately, the book was not a calendar, which was really only a minor problem for me. What I wanted and needed was to get up each morning and read one of Ms. Hay’s “Present Moment” inspirational and uplifting affirmations to help me live in “the moment”, which would draw my attention away from the past and the future and to help me concentrate on the only moment that really matters, the momemt that we are in now. Unfortunately, the marketing about the book was not accurate. Some of the affirmations had little to do with “the Present Moment” and the ones that did, where not always inspirational. I certainly would not recommend this book. For me I decided it would be wise not to purchase anymore of Ms. Hay’s products.

As someone who is rather new to Louise Hay’s work, I am really impressed with this little book. It contains 365 powerful affirmations that anyone can easily adapt into their life. It is also extremely colorful, and pleasant to look at.
