This economy meditation bench is made from durable poplar wood, with a clear finish. The bench is handmade by Laughing Buddha Trading. The bench is ideal for the less flexible meditator, and takes most of the weight off of the knees, although it’s still advisable to have some form of padding on the floor (even just a folded blanket) for added protection.

Great little bench; very simple (not portable, i.e, the legs don’t fold) but effective. The wood is nice, and the seat is wide and sturdy enough for me (I weigh about 220lb). There’s plenty of room for my feet under it too.

elegant simplicity in beautifully grained and patterned poplar. Well made, sits level and stable. well finished. very nice.

This is the second of these I’ve ordered. Perfect and at a great price. And the shipping was prompt. Great organization and if you’re looking for a comfortable way to meditate, I can’t say enough for this bench.
